VidScore runs each model through 20 standardized prompts covering people, animals, landscapes, products, and animation. We record actual API cost, generation time, and output resolution.
Test Prompts
20 prompts across 6 categories, run identically on all models. Each prompt tested 3 times, median values reported.
Cost Measurement
Actual API billing recorded per generation. All costs in USD, normalized to per-second pricing for comparison.
Speed Measurement
Wall-clock time from API request to video delivery. Measured for 5-second generation as the standard benchmark.
Update Frequency
Rankings refreshed weekly. New models benchmarked within 24-48 hours of public API availability.
